OTS Technology Support Desk provides technical support to students, but we also work with faculty to help when using technology in or as part of assignments. We can support student success by working together. 

We can help

Here’s what we can do to help you:

  • Hold virtual reality experiences.
  • Create custom templates to help students more successfully print posters that adhere to specific organizational guidelines.
  • Design online sign-up systems to coordinate the scheduling of blocks of recording appointments.
  • Coordinate individual and small group presentation recording sessions so that students can focus on their content instead of the technology used to deliver it.
  • Present during regular class meetings to orient students to Technology Support Desk services and facilities and to overview media production processes.
  • Provide a detailed orientation to the multimedia equipment available to students (as well as to faculty and staff) and provide guidance when making media production assignments.
  • Coordinate installation of discipline-specific software titles for students working in our facilities on evenings and weekends.

About our full range of services

We operate the Tech Services desk in Cook Library’s Academic Commons, multimedia studios and computer lab, and we provide ResNet support and manage multimedia equipment loans.
